Through play with this deck of cards, children learn to recognize simple analog clock times, such as whole hours, half past, quarter past, and quarter to. The initial activity involves sitting in a group of 2-4 players and trying to find one card from each color that represents the same time. A set consists of four cards showing the same time, and the goal is to collect as many sets as possible. Answer cards are included to verify correct matches.

Once players are comfortable with this activity, they can explore other games similar to Crazy Eights and Uno, though it’s recommended to master the initial activity first. When the activity becomes too easy, transitioning to getSmart Kids – Learn the Clock 2 is suggested.
