Hive

Hive is a highly addictive strategic game for two players that can be played anywhere on any flat surface. Hive consists of twenty-two pieces, eleven black and eleven white, each resembling different insects with unique movement abilities. The game begins as soon as the first piece is placed, with subsequent pieces forming a pattern that becomes the playing surface (the pieces themselves act as the board). Unlike other similar games, pieces are never removed, and not all pieces need to be played. The goal is to completely surround the opponent's queen bee while blocking your opponent from doing the same to your queen bee. The player who successfully surrounds the opponent's queen wins the game.
