getSmart: Fraction Representations

The theme of this deck of cards is different representations of fractions. The various fractions in the deck are represented in four different ways, with one of the representations being fractions on a number line. Placing fractions on a number line has proven to be particularly challenging for students on national tests in the 5th grade. By engaging in activities with the cards in this deck, mastering the placement of fractions on a number line will become a breeze!

The most educational activity with this product is for 2-4 players to work together to find one card from each color that represents the same value. A set consists of four cards with the same value, and the goal is to collect as many sets as possible. The deck comes with answer cards to ensure that the correct matches have been made. Additionally, you can play custom games with the cards similar to Uno and Crazy Eights. The game "War" is also popular.
