Shut the Box is a simple dice game that helps practice mental arithmetic and number skills. At the start of the game, all the flaps on the board are upright, and the goal is to close all the flaps by rolling the dice and matching their sum with the numbers on the board. For example, if you roll a 3 and a 4, you need to close the flap(s) that add up to 7. You can choose different combinations such as 6+1, 5+2, or 3+4 to achieve this. The higher the number rolled, the more combination options you have.
The game includes two dice and a board with 10 adjustable flaps on each side. It can be played by 2 to 4 players.
